Three private automobiles mysteriously burned on Christmas Day, and police in Odomase, the capital of the Sunyani West Municipality in the Bono Region, have opened an investigation.

Owners of the autos are in shock over the incident.

When the incident happened, the cars—two 4x4s and a Ford bus—were parked in their individual homes.

According to residents, two of the vehicles belonged to a popular pastor in the town and a sub-chief.

Since then, the owners have formally complained to the police.


The investigation is still underway, but no arrests have been made as of yet, according to a police source who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The circumstances behind the automobiles' fire are being investigated by the police.
