During the Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica, Blakk Cedi, the former manager of dancehall star Stonebwoy, publicly thanked Shatta Wale for the chance to collaborate with him.

Blakk Cedi expressed his thanks for being trusted to help realize Shatta Wale's vision in an emotional social media post.

He called the experience an honor, stating that he received love, respect, and trust all along the way.

"Every step was smooth because of the warmth you gave, which further demonstrated why so many people greatly admire you. It was motivating and gratifying to be able to observe your artistry up close and contribute to this accomplishment.

He admitted that seeing Shatta Wale's talent up close and contributing to the concert's success had inspired him.

Reiterating his support for Shatta Wale's path, he wrote, "I say 1 Perfect Love with deep respect and gratitude."


Samini, Stonebwoy's previous guru, has also expressed pleasure in Shatta's accomplishment in the Caribbean.

Another significant event in Shatta Wale's remarkable career that demonstrated his impact outside of Ghana was the Freedom Street Concert.
