As the 2024 elections get near, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, the founder and leader of Believers Worship Centre, has sent a message of encouragement and hope to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dr. Bawumia and important officials from the NPP's Ashanti Regional branch paid a surprise visit to Prophet Adom Kyei Duah's church on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman conveyed his sincere gratitude for the church's continued support and the cordial welcome they received during the visit. The chairman also gave the church a GHS 100,000 donation as a token of goodwill.
Prophet Adom Kyei Duah responded with a sincere prayer for Dr. Bawumia, expressing his hope that the politician will have good news in the future. In order to clear the path for Dr. Bawumia's victory, he prayed for God's favour. As he prayed, the prophet symbolically wrapped his cloth over Dr. Bawumia, causing the congregation to burst into delight and jubilation.
Only a few days prior to this visit, former President John Dramani Mahama made a surprise appearance at the same church, marking another noteworthy occasion. Mahama pledged during his visit to construct a road to the chapel in the event that he won the presidency in the next elections.
With six days to go until the elections on December 7, 2024, the political scene is still dominated by a high-stakes race between 12 presidential contenders, especially between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the NPP.
