The Overlord of Wala State, Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV, sent a heartfelt message of congratulations to President-elect Napogbakole Naa John Dramani Mahama for his overwhelming win in the elections held on December 7, 2024.

The Ghanaian people responded favorably to the president-elect's humility, honesty, and sincerity, the Overlord said.

"The people responded favorably to your almost self-effacing humility, candor, and sincerity," he said.

The Overlord observed that Ghanaians had expressed their confidence in President-elect Mahama's leadership by speaking up loud and plainly.

Speaking to the media at the Traditional Council on Monday, December 23, 2024, Secretary to the Overloard Jinpenhi Naa Kadri Ibrahim, who read the statement on behalf of the Overlord, stressed that this confidence was well-founded because the president-elect had a track record of service and a message that the public found appealing.

"This wasn't a coincidence. It was a well-thought-out move based on their prior experience with your service in that capacity and their conviction that your campaign message was credible," he continued.

The Overlord voiced faith in President-Elect Mahama's capacity to live up to Ghanaians' expectations, although admitting the difficulties that lie ahead.

He prayed that Allah would guide and protect the president-elect as he resettled the Republic of Ghana.

He said softly, "We are aware that the beginning will be a tremendous undertaking due to our background, but with your determination and the support of Ghanaians, you will successfully weather the storm."

In addition to congratulating the president-elect, the Overlord also wished him, his family, and all Ghanaians a joyous and peaceful Yuletide season. The Overlord's dedication to the welfare and prosperity of the Ghanaian people is reflected in this message of goodwill and assistance.
