Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the NDC's running mate, expressed surprise at seeing the NPP flags in the SALL constituency.
During her campaign rounds, she stopped to speak to a group of supporters who had gathered there. She said she was taken aback to see the flags of the largest opposition party, the NDC, flying in the constituency. She said that she was so shocked by the NPP's flags in the constituency that she almost drove right by it.
She claims that because of the NPP's disregard for the local population, they shouldn't be allowed to remain in the constituency. She talked about how the ruling NPP party ignored the residents' wishes, only to return back to campaign there after chewing their tongues. She told the populace how, in the 2024 parliament, the NPP refused to give the new constituency a representative in the legislature.
In order for the people to realise that denying them representation in the legislature is equivalent to denying them the right to exercise democracy, she urged them to vote against the NPP with all of their rage.
