According to Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, President Akufo-Addo would be remembered as having an unparalleled record.
Political expediency would not permit his detractors to challenge him for his accomplishments, according to the Effutu Member of Parliament, who was nominated as the minority leader in the upcoming 9th Parliament.
Perhaps because of some political experience, we may not understand what he has done for this country, he stated in response to his final State of the Nation address on January 3, 2025. However, history will fairly conclude, Mr. Speaker, that there was an Akufo-Addo whose record in our nation's educational system was unparalleled. This man is not scared of any obstacles that come his way.
He characterized Agenda 111 as a bold initiative that will revitalize our health system and meet the unparalleled health demands of the numerous vulnerable communities.
He claimed that the president and his team have proven they are capable of doing so. Keeping Ghana safe is important, especially when compared to our neighbors. We should also be proud of Ghana's improved investments.
He stated that under President Akufo-Addo's direction, democracy has flourished.
Despite their promises of hope and improved economic management, he said Ghanaians will soon know the umbrella's true colors.
He gave the NDC his word that his team would keep an eye on them and make sure they had fulfilled their commitments.
He bemoaned the fact that the NPP government took over a difficult economy, but among other things, it kept the lights on and gave free education to more than 5 million people.
