Empress Gifty, a gospel musician, has shared how she would present herself if her spouse held a parliamentary position. She claims that the majority of MPs' spouses do not effectively utilize the opportunities and privileges granted to their husbands.

In her interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s Changes show, she stated that being an MP wife, there are numerous obligations that can offer that most women have failed to realize.

“I would have utilized the MP wife role and made the other MP wives wake up. They would admire what I’m doing because people don’t even know most of them, and there are a lot of responsibilities they can do with that mandate given to her husband.”

“My husband is doing his job, and he is a politician, not Empress. I’m for the masses. So, now I’m in my lane. When my husband is embarking on any campaign, I support him with prayers.”

She said she had no regrets about ever accompanying her husband to a campaign event and thinks it is beneficial for a woman to help her spouse fulfill their goals.

Nonetheless, she is certain that she will one day become a member of parliament or a president's wife, and she advises others not to be shocked when this occurs.

After her divorce from Prophet Elisha Osei, Empress Gifty has been married to Hopeson Adorye, a well-known politician from Ghana, for five years. The couple has two children together.
