According to former Ghanaian President John Agyekum Kufour, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the best person to lead the nation at this pivotal juncture. In an interview with Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM, Kufour affirmed his faith in Bawumia's leadership and commended his qualities.

The former president believes that Bawumia is the most qualified individual to lead Ghana through its present difficulties because of his experience and vision.

Kufour recalled that he had previously come under fire for calling Dr. Bawumia a "man of destiny." Although some people have criticized and objected to his endorsement, he stated that he is unwavering in his support for the current vice president. Kufour, the former president, reaffirmed his belief in Bawumia's skills and his preparedness for the presidency.

Mr. Kufour emphasized Bawumia's record during the conversation, highlighting his in-depth knowledge of the nation's economic situation and his creative style of governing.

He acknowledged that Bawumia's vision was a great strength, especially when it came to handling intricate economic matters and putting progressive policies into action.

Kufour asserted that Bawumia's leadership would be crucial to advancing Ghana's growth. "I know why I called Bawumia 'a Man of Destiny,' yet I was attacked for it. He is, in my opinion, the greatest man Ghana has ever needed. "Ghanian people ought to give Bawumia a chance," he said.
