A group of Ghanaian explorers, known as Wanderlust, have found themselves in legal trouble after being detained in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Interpol has released mugshots of the individuals, who were apprehended for allegedly possessing stolen vehicles.

According to reports, the explorers were in possession of a Tacoma and a Lexus, both of which were reported stolen in 2022 and 2019, respectively.

Despite claiming to have conducted thorough checks before purchasing the vehicles, the Ghanaian group has been detained along with their passports.

The incident has cast a shadow over the group’s expedition, which involved six members.

As investigations continue, the future of the explorers remains uncertain.
