Jeremiah Kofi Ndemeleh, a 22-year-old final-year student at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), has etched his name in academic history by clinching “top global honors” in two fiercely competitive ACCA 2024 examinations “Financial Management” and “Advanced Financial Management”.

Hailing from humble beginnings and educated at Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS), Jeremiah’s journey from local classrooms to international acclaim embodies the transformative power of resilience and intellect.

Balancing the demands of his final-year studies with rigorous ACCA preparation, Jeremiah achieved what few can fathom: securing “1st place in Ghana” and “17th globally” out of 11,731 candidates in Advanced Financial Management, while also dominating “1st in Ghana” and “21st worldwide” among 8,392 contenders in Financial Management.

This dual triumph marks a historic first for Ghana and underscores his mastery of complex financial strategies.

His academic brilliance was evident early on. As a high school graduate, Jeremiah stunned peers with a flawless “7A WASSCE result” and a near-perfect “SAT score of 1590/1600” a rare feat that foreshadowed his global ascent.

Now, his ACCA victories not only spotlight his exceptional analytical skills but also elevate Ghana, UGBS, and his alma mater, OWASS, on the world stage.

The ACCA awards, renowned for their exacting standards and global prestige, attract elite talent from over 180 countries. Jeremiah’s unprecedented double win cements his status as a trailblazer, proving that barriers are surmountable for those with vision and tenacity.

Set to graduate soon, Jeremiah stands as a beacon of hope for Ghanaian youth, particularly those from underserved communities. His story from the halls of Opoku Ware to ACCA’s global podium resounds with a powerful message: “ambition, paired with relentless effort, knows no bounds”.

As Ghana celebrates this prodigious talent, Jeremiah Kofi Ndemeleh’s legacy inspires a new generation to dream boldly and strive fearlessly.
