In a notable advancement for the preservation of government properties, a key initiative by the Mahama administration known as ORAL has effectively halted the demolition of 20 government bungalows, signifying an important success in the continuous fight against corruption.

The team's leader, Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, disclosed on January 31st, 2025 the accomplishment during his vetting in the legislature, emphasizing the initiative as a vital part of President John Mahama's anti-corruption plan.

“Mr. Chairman, as I mentioned in my introduction, I take great pride in one of my roles, and I will continue to be exceptionally proud of it, as it is a key component of President John Mahama’s fight against corruption,” he stated.

As stated by the team's representative, the recovered properties were located using details obtained from the public, highlighting the impact of citizen involvement in governmental oversight.

"I can disclose to you today that since the formation of the ORAL team and our receipt of information from the general public, we have preserved 20 bungalows in this country that were set to be demolished." He included.
