Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, the vice-presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has sent a bold message to John Mahama, after dropping some revelations about the Late Atta Mills.

Speaking to the chiefs and people at Ekumfi, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh said that it was John Evans Atta Mills who helped NDC to gain victory in their recent elections.

He however added that after Atta Mills' death, John Mahama and the NDC have failed to give him the deserved honour.

Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh said that John Mahama has claimed ownership of every single project that was started by Atta Mills.

He said that a lot of projects John Mahama claimed to be part of his achievements were actually started and even completed by Atta Mills.

Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who is currently campaigning in the Central region also decided to honour Atta Mills. He has built a Library to honour the late president.

The library project was overseen by Samuel Koku Anyidoho, the CEO of the Atta Mills Institute. Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Prempeh once again praised the late president as a man of integrity and a great leader.

He described Atta Mills as a gift from God to Ghana but added that he believed the late president was in the "wrong political party."

Dr. Prempeh explained that he was inspired by Koku Anyidoho’s efforts to preserve the legacy of the late president.

He also criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by John Dramani Mahama, for claiming credit for all of Atta Mills’ achievements, implying that the late president’s contributions have not been properly recognized by his own party.

Samuel Koku Anyidoho expressed his gratitude to Dr. Prempeh for supporting efforts to celebrate the legacy of President Atta Mills.

He also challenged the late president's family members to show what they have done to honor his memory.
