Amanda Mantey, a well-known Ghanaian TikToker on social media who went by the handle Mandy Cross, passed away suddenly after a brief illness, and was laid to rest. The 24-year-old died after being treated for what was initially thought to be a minor sickness at a nearby hospital. Mandy was a fervent follower of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ghana's vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. She was laid to rest in an unusual casket styled like an iPhone and painted in NPP colors. Videos from the ceremony, which took place in Sefwi Asawinso in the Western North Region, went viral online and caused fans and social media users to respond emotionally. Mandy was well-known for her ability to engage her audience in conversation about a variety of subjects, such as Ghana's political.
