Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC, has made some serious allegations against former President John Dramani Mahama. Abronye DC claims that Mahama has received GH¢15 million in ex-gratia payments since leaving office in 2017. He says he has official documents to back up his allegations, which he obtained from the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.

This isn't the first time the issue of ex-gratia payments has come up. Former presidents, including Mahama, are entitled to these payments, but the exact amounts and frequency of payments have been debated. Mahama has previously denied receiving excessive payments after his time in office.

Abronye DC's claims have sparked mixed reactions. Some people are praising his efforts to push for transparency, saying it's time for public officials to be honest about what they're receiving from the state. On the other hand, Mahama's supporters have rejected Abronye DC's claims, accusing him of trying to tarnish the former president's image.

Mahama himself has responded to the allegations, calling them "absolute lies" . He also stated that he pays his own bills, further denying the claims. It's worth noting that the Controller and Accountant General’s Department has yet to make an official statement on the matter, leaving many people questioning the validity of Abronye DC's claims.
