Alan Kyerematen, the leader of the Movement for Change and an independent presidential candidate, is urging Ghanaians to reject ineffective leadership and the dominant two-party system that has hindered the country's progress. He presented his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) as the solution to Ghana's persistent challenges during an interview with Kastle FM and his outreach to communities in the Central Region .
The GTP is designed to build an Enterprise Economy in Ghana, characterized by private ownership, a competitive market, and limited government intervention. It aims to stabilize the macroeconomy, incentivize the private sector, deepen governance, and improve infrastructure, healthcare, and education .
Kyerematen's plan also focuses on boosting local production and productivity, strategic anchor industries, export promotion, and SME development. He emphasizes the need for a culture of zero tolerance towards corruption and landmark constitutional reforms to elevate the quality of governance in Ghana .
