Hassan Ayariga, the flagbearer of the All People's Congress (APC), is accusing John Mahama and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of copying key policies from the APC's manifesto. Specifically, Ayariga claims that Mahama's "24-hour economy" policy was first proposed in the APC's 2016-2020 manifesto, on page 30, item 31.

He also asserts that digitization, a central theme in Bawumia's governance vision, was already emphasized in the APC's manifesto, on page 62.

It's worth noting that the 24-hour economy initiative, championed by John Mahama, aims to promote a system where businesses and services operate beyond traditional hours, unlocking the country's full economic potential .
