Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II has been elected as the Vice President of the National House of Chiefs in a landslide victory, securing 54 votes. His impressive win is a testament to his remarkable life journey, which has prepared him for this esteemed position. Born on April 6, 1948, in old Buipe, Savannah Region, Buipewura Jinapor has had a distinguished career as a classroom teacher, police officer, and traditional leader, with over three decades of experience in traditional leadership .

As the father of the history-making Jinapor brothers in Ghana's Parliament, Buipewura Jinapor's legacy extends beyond his own achievements. His sons, John Abdulai Jinapor, Lawyer Samuel Abdulai Jinapor, and Professor Ahmed Jinapor, have all made significant contributions to Ghana's development .
