Deputy Minister Sylvester Tetteh Clears Air On GBC Bungalow Demolition

Sylvester Tetteh, the Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, has denied allegations of demolishing a Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) staff bungalow at Weija . According to him, the demolition was part of an agreed plan to construct a public school on the land, with prior engagement with GBC .

Tetteh described the structure as a "dilapidated boy's quarters" and accused GBC of collecting rent from an occupant rather than using the building for staff accommodation . He also accused GBC of mismanaging its properties, suggesting that lands intended for public purposes had been converted into private residences .

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has, however, accused Sylvester Tetteh of being behind the demolition of the bungalow .
