EC Chairperson Jean Mensa has made a passionate appeal to Election Officials to discharge their duties diligently during the December 7 polls. She reminded them that the EC's mandate is not to make anybody a president or an MP, but to conduct orderly, credible, fair, and highly professional elections.

Mensa expressed her gratitude to the EC staff across the country for their hard work in ensuring successful, peaceful, and credible elections. She urged them to abide by the values and motto of the Commission, which are Transparency, Fairness, and Integrity.

The EC Chairperson also reminded the staff that they have a tall responsibility and have been given the training and skills needed to carry out their tasks with distinction and professionalism. She encouraged them to let truth guide them, be fair in all their dealings, and follow the directions provided by the Commission.

Mensa's message comes ahead of the December 7 polls, and she emphasized the importance of conducting elections that reflect the will of the people as expressed at the polls.
