First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has described Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a "blessing to Ghana", citing his exceptional leadership skills, intelligence, and vision.

First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has thrown her weight behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, urging voters in the Odododiodoo constituency to support him in the upcoming presidential election on December 7. Speaking at a campaign event in Agbogbloshie, Accra, Mrs. Akufo-Addo emphasized Dr. Bawumia's ability to build on the successes of her husband, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo .

She highlighted the importance of maintaining essential policies like the Free Senior High School program, which has been a significant initiative of the current administration. Mrs. Akufo-Addo believes Dr. Bawumia is the ideal candidate to uphold and further these policies for the benefit of all Ghanaians.

The First Lady also praised Dr. Bawumia's leadership skills, citing his intelligence, vision, and proven experience in managing the economy. She appealed to voters not to be misled into switching the NPP government, emphasizing the need to vote for continuity to improve Ghana's development.
