The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has made an important announcement regarding the 2024 presidential election. In a statement, the EC confirmed that the positions of candidates on the presidential ballot paper will remain unchanged.

This means that the order of the candidates on the ballot paper will be the same as it was initially announced. The EC has urged the public to disregard any fake stories or rumors suggesting that the order of the candidates has been changed.

The EC's announcement is aimed at maintaining transparency and credibility in the electoral process. By confirming that the positions of candidates on the ballot paper will remain unchanged, the EC is helping to build trust and confidence among voters and stakeholders.

It's worth noting that the EC is currently conducting the Special Voting exercise for frontline workers, including security agencies, electoral officers, and media practitioners. The exercise is taking place in 14 regions across the country, with the exception of the Western and Eastern regions, where the exercise has been rescheduled due to a breach of ballot seals.

The 2024 presidential election is scheduled to take place on December 7, and the EC's announcement is an important step in ensuring the integrity and transparency of the electoral process. By maintaining the original order of candidates on the ballot paper, the EC is helping to promote a free, fair, and credible election.
