According to a report by GHOne TV today, a Ghanaian mother has been detained in Oti for reportedly killing her three children following a disagreement with her husband.

The terrible incident occurred late one night when the wife, Ama Asare, had a furious disagreement with her husband, Kwame Asare.

According to local sources, Ama and Kwame had been having marital problems, and their quarrel that night swiftly escalated.

Following the altercation, Ama apparently became distressed and did an unfathomable deed.

She rushed into the bedroom where her three children, ages 4 to 10, were sleeping and killed them.

Ama is accused of hiding her children's bodies under the bed, maybe to cover up the crime.

The horrifying discovery was made the next morning when Kwame went to check on the kids and saw something strange.

Kwame grew concerned when he couldn't find the children and immediately asked for assistance. Neighbors and police officers arrived on location to investigate.

The three children's remains were discovered stashed beneath the bed during a search of the house. The police detained Ama Asare, who allegedly confessed to the crime.

She informed the cops that her anger and unhappiness with her spouse had drove her to do the unimaginable.

The occurrence has left the community in great shock and dismay.

Many locals voiced their anguish, calling the loss as a tragedy that will reverberate throughout the community.

"I can't believe this. Is a mother killing her own children? "This is unimaginable," exclaimed one neighbor.

The police have accused Ama Asare with murder, and she is currently in detention awaiting trial. Her husband, Kwame, is distraught by the death of his children and his wife's awful crime.
