Hackman Owusu Agyemang, the Board Chairman of COCOBOD, has publicly endorsed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the vice presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), ahead of the 2024 elections.

Agyemang believes that Dr. Prempeh has proven himself to be a capable politician, particularly during the current election season .

While acknowledging that Dr. Prempeh may have made some mistakes in his public utterances, Agyemang considers these mistakes to be minor and pardonable, having not caused any significant harm to the NPP. In his opinion, Dr. Prempeh possesses the necessary qualities to excel as a politician and a surgeon .
