John Boadu, the former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has slammed Alan Kyerematen for his reaction to former President John Agyekum Kufuor's endorsement of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the NPP's flagbearer. Boadu thinks Kyerematen, who has left the NPP, has no right to criticize Kufuor's support for Bawumia.

According to Boadu, Kufuor endorsed Bawumia based on his qualifications and vision, not because of his contributions to the party. Boadu questioned the logic behind Kyerematen's disappointment, asking if he expected Kufuor to endorse Bawumia based on party loyalty rather than merit.

It's worth noting that Kyerematen has been quite vocal about his disapproval of Kufuor's endorsement, even going as far as saying that it has created a "big blot" on Kufuor's political career . However, Boadu believes that Kyerematen's frustration is misplaced, especially given his current status outside the party.
