John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made some serious allegations against the Jubilee House. He claims they're behind a social media campaign spreading fake news to undermine his political ambitions and discredit him and others . This isn't the first time Mahama has accused the Jubilee House of spreading misinformation. He's been vocal about it before, calling the seat of government a hub for fake stories .
Mahama's remarks came after Nana Kwabena Ofori, the Chief of Akyem Akroso, denied endorsing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Mahama is urging Ghanaians to be vigilant and verify information carefully, especially with the 2024 elections around the corner. He emphasized the need to fight misinformation, pointing out that the Jubilee House is where people's words are twisted and fake news originates.
It's essential to note that misinformation is a significant concern, especially during election periods. False claims can spread quickly on social media, and it's crucial to fact-check information before accepting it as true. Mahama's call to action is timely, and Ghanaians must be cautious of fake news circulating online.
