Tributes Pour in as Friends and Family Bid Farewell to Afia Dedaa Osae-Atuah

A somber atmosphere filled the Kumasi-Patasi Trinity Baptist Church as family, friends, and classmates gathered to pay their respects to Afia Dedaa Osae-Atuah, the young KNUST student who tragically lost her life in a road accident.

Mourners clad in black and white attire mourned the devastating loss of a bright and promising young life. Classmates from KNUST spoke fondly of Dedaa's warm personality, academic dedication, and the impact she had on those around her.

Family members were visibly distraught as they bid farewell to their beloved daughter. The funeral was a heart-wrenching reminder of the tragic circumstances surrounding Dedaa's passing.

Dedaa's Life Cut Short

Dedaa, a third-year Geography student at KNUST, lost her life in a gory accident involving a speeding trotro. The vehicle veered off course and struck her and another pedestrian as they waited by the roadside for a commercial vehicle.

The incident occurred just two weeks prior to the funeral, and the wounds of those affected are still fresh. Dedaa was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries hours later.

As the funeral came to a close, tributes continued to pour in for the young student whose life was cut short. Friends, classmates, and family members remembered Dedaa's bright smile, her love for learning, and her infectious enthusiasm.
