Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi, the Member of Parliament for Asante-Akim North, has been caught on tape threatening his opponent, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, in the upcoming December 7 elections. In the leaked recording, Appiah Kubi is heard warning Frimpong that he'll make Agogo unsafe for him to stay and even goes as far as to say he'll beat him and his people .

This isn't the first time Appiah Kubi has made headlines for controversy. He's been involved in other high-profile cases, including a contempt of court application against the Assin North MP .

It's worth noting that Appiah Kubi isn't the only politician to be embroiled in a leaked tape scandal. National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah also appeared before a committee probing a leaked tape .
