Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), celebrated her birthday on November 22 by donating to the Nyohini Children's Home in Tamale. She presented the orphanage with essential items, including food, toiletries, and a cash donation of GH₵10,000. This charitable act coincided with her campaign tour of the Northern Region ahead of the December 7 election. Prof. Opoku-Agyemang also made a similar donation to the Ankaful Leprosarium in the Central Region.
