The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the People's National Convention (PNC) are calling on the Electoral Commission (EC) to investigate and arrest those responsible for the ballot paper "leakage" incident. This comes after a defaced ballot paper intended for the Eastern Region was found outside one of the printing houses contracted by the EC .

The NDC has also called on the EC to halt the printing of ballot papers to ensure the integrity of the electoral process. The party is concerned that the leakage could compromise the credibility of the elections.

The EC has already taken steps to address the issue, including recalling and reprinting the affected ballot papers. However, the NDC and PNC are demanding a more thorough investigation to hold those responsible accountable.
