Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and Senior Presidential Advisor Yaw Osafo-Maafo recently visited Abompe and Samang to engage with traditional leaders and party supporters. During the visit, Ofori-Atta addressed concerns about the poor state of the Abompe road, which has been under construction since 1962. He assured the community that the road will be completed before the elections, thanks to secured funding from the Bank of Ghana.

Ofori-Atta also urged the people of Abompe to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to secure Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's presidency, highlighting the party's achievements such as the Free SHS program. He also encouraged them to vote for Duke Ofori-Atta as their Member of Parliament, promising enhanced development for the constituency.
