A temporary disruption in voting at the Asante Mampong Constituency has been resolved. The constituency, one of many in Ghana, is a key location for the 2024 general elections.

The disruption was caused by a misunderstanding between National Democratic Congress (NDC) agents and Electoral Commission (EC) officials. The issue centered around a broken ballot box seal, which the NDC agents claimed was tampered with in their absence.

The situation was tense for a brief period, but fortunately, the Municipal EC Director intervened to mediate the issue. The director's intervention helped to calm the situation, and voting was able to resume.

The swift resolution of the issue ensured that the voting process was not significantly disrupted. The Electoral Commission's ability to quickly address the issue helped to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.

The resumption of voting at the Asante Mampong Constituency is a positive development, as it allows citizens to exercise their right to vote in the 2024 general elections.
