Owusu Bempah's 2024 Prophecy for Mahama Will Not Come True, as Great Ampong Explains

Ghanaian gospel musician Great Ampong recently responded forcefully to the contentious prophecy made by Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah on the 2024 presidential election. Significant discussion has been generated in political and religious circles by the prophecy, which stated that former President John Dramani Mahama would win back to power and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would lose the election.

Great Ampong discussed his interpretation of the prophecy and the reasons he thinks it won't come true during an appearance on Agyapa TV. The gospel singer asserts that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would win the 2024 election and refutes Prophet Owusu Bempah's prophecy. He explained this by pointing to the social and economic benefits of Ghana's Free Senior High School (SHS) program, which have benefited a large number of people, particularly the impoverished and widows' children.

Great Ampong contended that innumerable families who otherwise would not have been able to afford secondary education had benefited greatly from the Free SHS plan, a centerpiece of the Akufo-Addo administration. God, he claimed, will not want the NPP to lose the next election since so many Ghanaians who are vulnerable depend on the continuation of these social programs.

Ampong went on to say that spiritual issues are a major factor in how elections turn out and he was optimistic about Dr. Bawumia, the NPP's nominee, winning in the polls in 2024. He connected this to divine intervention, implying that God will support the political party that has supported the rights of the underprivileged and destitute.

Great Ampong also brought up the allegations that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) had leveled against Prophet Owusu Bempah prior to the 2016 elections. He asserted that the prophet had been denigrated and ridiculed by NDC members, who had called him a "fake man of God." Because of the remarks said against Owusu Bempah, Ampong contended, the prophecy that favored Mahama and the NDC would not come to pass.

Finally, the singer dismissed Owusu Bempah's prophecy as unlikely to come true and voiced unflinching faith that Bawumia and the NPP will win the 2024 elections.
