Patrick Yaw Boamah, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, has successfully retained his seat in the 2024 parliamentary election

Patrick Yaw Boamah, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, has successfully retained his seat in the 2024 parliamentary election. He secured 20,229 votes, defeating his main contender, Abdulai Abu Baba Abubakar Sadiq of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who got 18,783 votes.

As the MP for Okaikwei Central Constituency, Greater Accra Region, Boamah is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) . Born on September 19, 1974, he holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from the University of Ghana and is a lawyer by profession .

Boamah serves on several committees in Parliament, including the Finance Committee, where he is the Vice Chairperson, the Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Appointments Committee .
