Ohenaba Nana Asiedu, a morning show host for Wontumi Radio in the Ashanti Region, has been invited by the police for spreading false information. He claimed in a viral video that the presidential elections would be held on different dates for each aspirant, which is completely false .

According to reports, Oheneba said that the election would be held for the first seven people on the ballot paper on December 7, 2024, and then for the remaining candidates on subsequent days. He even warned that anyone who fails to vote for the first candidate on the ballot paper would not get the chance to vote for the other candidates .

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for Oheneba's arrest, accusing him of deliberately misinforming the public about the upcoming election .. The Ghana Police Service is taking this matter seriously, and Oheneba is expected to report to the Ashanti regional police command to assist in the investigation .
