President Nana Akufo-Addo Gives Assurance of Peaceful and Trouble-Free Elections in Ghana

: President Nana Akufo-Addo has assured Ghanaians that the country will remain peaceful before, during, and after the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections
. He's confident that Ghana's track record of holding successful elections will continue, citing the country's eight previous peaceful elections since 1992.

The President emphasized that all stakeholders, including the Electoral Commission and security agencies, are committed to ensuring a peaceful election. He urged citizens to vote without fear, warning that troublemakers will not be tolerated.

With the election just around the corner, President Akufo-Addo's assurance is a welcome relief for many Ghanaians. The presidential election is expected to be a closely contested race between the ruling New Patriotic Party's candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, and the opposition National Democratic Congress's candidate, John Mahama
