Krobea Kwabena Asante, a presidential staffer, has rejected calls for his arrest after posting a thumb-printed ballot paper on Facebook. The post revealed how security officers voted during the Special Voting exercise on December 2, 2024. Asante's caption read: "The way the security officers are voting #1 deɛ asem ooo."
Security analyst Dr. Adam Bonaa has been calling for Asante's arrest, but Asante remains defiant. This incident has sparked controversy ahead of Ghana's general elections on December 7, 2024.
