Prophet Akwasi Appiah has been making waves with his statements about the recent election, claiming that John Mahama's victory was a deliberate act of divine intervention. According to him, Mahama's win was necessary to prevent a catastrophic outcome for the country. He even went as far as to say that "something would have happened" if Mahama hadn't won the election.

Prophet Appiah also shared his personal experiences, claiming to be the first person in Ghana to have had a spiritual case heard in court. He alleged that he faced numerous challenges, including threats of violence and intimidation. Despite these obstacles, he remains resolute in his convictions.

One of the most striking aspects of Prophet Appiah's statements is his warning about fake prophets who engage in misleading prophecies. He emphasized the importance of distinguishing between genuine and fake prophets, saying that "in Ghana, there are genuine prophets called by God to serve His people, but there are also fake prophets engaging in 'copy and paste' prophecies" .

Prophet Appiah also offered some advice to President Mahama, urging him to seek the prayers and anointing of renowned spiritual leaders to ensure his administration is guided by divine wisdom. Additionally, he predicted that it will take considerable time for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to regain power, suggesting that they will return under a different name after significant transformations and rebranding.

In a surprising revelation, Prophet Appiah disclosed that he placed a curse on the government after they arrested him. He undertook a seven-day dry fasting period, seeking divine intervention, and declared that he would not lift the curse unless the government apologized to him.

It's worth noting that Prophet Appiah's statements have sparked controversy, with some criticizing his claims of divine intervention in the election. Others have questioned the validity of his prophecies, highlighting the need for discernment when it comes to spiritual leaders and their claims.
