A Ghanaian girl made history as a young PhD student in the United States.
Ruth G. Darkwa, as she is known, has been admitted to the University of New Mexico and is pursuing a postgraduate degree.
Following her PhD studies, the young lady intends to work for NASA.
Ruth G. Darkwa, an 18-year-old Ghanaian girl, has made history by becoming the United States' youngest PhD student.
This comes after the adolescent was accepted into a doctoral program at the University of New Mexico.
According to reports. Ruth G. Darkwa displayed remarkable intellectual ability throughout her primary, secondary, and college studies.
In 2017, at the age of 13, the child was admitted to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
Ruth G. Darkwa, 17, became the youngest Ghanaian bachelor's degree holder when she graduated from KNUST in 2021.
The smart young lady, whose father is apparently a physics tutor at Prempeh College SHS, hopes to join the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) after finishing her doctoral degree.
The young lady's remarkable academic narrative was shared on X by @Thevokofficial, and it drew congratulations from a number of Ghanaians.
