The 2024 general elections have seen some notable NDC MPs retain their seats. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the MP for North Tongu, and Sam George, the MP for Ningo-Prampram, are among those who have successfully defended their seats.

Other NDC MPs who have retained their seats include Yussif Jajah Issaka, the MP for Ayawaso North, and Emmanuel Bedzrah, the MP for Ho West. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, the MP for Ada, and Zanetor Rawlings, the MP for Klottey-Korle, have also emerged victorious.

The NDC's success in retaining these seats is a significant boost to the party. These MPs have been instrumental in advocating for the party's policies and interests in Parliament.

While the NDC is celebrating these victories, some key members of the NPP have suffered defeats in their constituencies. The Minister for Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, lost her seat in the Ablekuma West Constituency to the NDC.

The outcome of the elections is a clear indication of the trust and confidence that the people have in their elected representatives. As the country awaits the official results, the NDC is already celebrating its victories and looking forward to the next Parliament
