Toobu foresees a peaceful and trouble-free 2024 election.
Peter Lanchene Toobu, the Wa West Member of Parliament, is urging for peaceful and transparent elections in Ghana's upcoming December 7 polls. He believes the country's three-decade democratic journey provides a solid foundation for a violence-free process. Toobu, a retired police officer, emphasized the crucial role of the Police and Military in maintaining peace during the elections. He expressed confidence in Ghana's security agencies, citing their preparedness and competence under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces and the Inspector General of Police.
