Veteran journalist Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has made it clear that he won't be supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 general elections. In fact, he's gone as far as saying that "even my own corpse won’t vote for the NDC"! Despite having friends within the party, Baako has publicly endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as the best candidate to lead the nation.

Baako's declaration has added fuel to the political heat as Ghanaians prepare to cast their votes on December 7, 2024. Both the NPP and NDC are ramping up their campaigns, with the Electoral Commission ensuring a transparent and smooth voting process. It's worth noting that Baako has a history of speaking his mind, and his endorsement of Bawumia is seen as a significant boost to the NPP's campaign .
