Aside from that, it also aims at projecting the good image, tourism, business, culture, etc. in Shai-Osudoku and Ghana as a whole and to make Shai-Osudoku an attractive destination for business and tourism globally, and leading efforts to address societal problems in the area.
Explaining the rationale behind the official launch though the media house has been operational for the past two and a half years, CEO of the media house, Moses Smart Agamah noted that this is to officially introduce the brand to the people and seek their support. “Though we’ve covered a lot of activities, social issues…but we thought it wise to officially introduce it to the community and seek their support and getting funds from them to get certain equipment to support the work we are doing,” he said.
The CEO said in an interview that, “We believe that through Osudoku TV, we can help attract others to come and also invest in Osudoku.”
According to him, Osudoku TV is already partnering with the traditional leadership in the area to showcase the festivals of the people and expose the problems confronting the area for prompt attention.
He appealed to the people of Osudoku to accept and support the brand to enable it achieve its goals for the community.
Smart Agama described the launch as a milestone in the quest to empower the Osudoku community through quality storytelling, education and entertainment.
Guest speaker at the event and lecturer at the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, Prof. Michael Kpessa-Whyte who is an indigene of the area, commended the initiators of the platform but urged all and sundry to lend a hand of support to the new station to enable it serve its success.
He encouraged them to withstand any difficulties likely to be encountered in the beginning as the establishment has the potential to succeed in the end.

The lecturer challenged them to leverage the emergence and growth of technology in communication and information to facilitate their work.
Prof. Kpessa-Whyte advised the citizens of the area, especially the youth, to conduct themselves peacefully in the upcoming election.
