Ghanaian artist Maradona Yeboah Adjei, better known by his stage name Guru, has said that he only gets two hours of sleep every day since he was elected president of the University of Ghana (UG) Students Representative Council (SRC). I used to get roughly four hours of sleep every day, but now days I only get two. In an interview with Amansan Krakye, he said, "You have to realize that I don't get enough time to rest." He clarified that he frequently receives a call to attend a meeting just as he is about to fall asleep.

"As you try to grab something to eat, you're already preparing for another meeting," he continued. The Ghanaian musician added that, particularly given his other side projects, serving as President of the UG SRC is not a simple job.
