The wife of Movement for Change leader Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has provoked debates with her audacious claim that her husband is significantly more knowledgeable than Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. When asked why Alan Kyerematen turned down the chance to be Dr. Bawumia's running mate, Madam Patricia Christabel Kyerematen responded in an interview. The necessity that her spouse work as Bawumia's servant seemed to be too much for her to handle.

"Does Vice President Dr. Bawumia possess even a quarter of the knowledge that my husband, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, possesses?" she questioned. As a man of the finest integrity, Madam Patricia praised her husband, calling him distinct, calm, strategic, and spiritually enlightened. He is intelligent and takes a deliberate approach to leadership, she said, understanding when to speak and when to be quiet. "After 40 years of marriage, I can state with confidence that my husband is extremely smart and spiritually rooted. He knows better than anyone that everything has its proper moment in this world," she said.

Madam Patricia will not remark on why Alan Kyerematen actually left the NPP to start his own party. Her claim comes as political loyalty is being called into question in the run-up to Ghana's next general elections.
