President Nana Akufo-Addo was blasted by former President John Dramani Mahama for erecting a statue of himself outside the Effia-Nkwanta Government Hospital in Sekondi. The former president claimed at a campaign rally that Akufo-Addo is only conceited, when presidents are expected to be modest.

He criticized the current president for being so arrogant that he had a statue of himself built and then went to present it. According to Mahama, a leader should not impose praise on himself; rather, others should recognize and respect his job.

He added that despite Akufo-Addo's repeated pleas for Ghanaians to give him a shot, he has really caused problems for them. Watch below. "Sɔ me hwɛ, sɔ me hwɛ ewie nsɔhwɛ."
