Shatta Wale didn't mince words when he launched into a criticism of Sarkodie's career choices on a recent episode of Rants, Bants, and Confessions on Glitch Africa. Sarkodie's extravagant music video spending was criticized by Shatta, who called it a "waste investment" and questioned why he isn't experiencing the global success of artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, or Davido. Shatta claims that all of that money would have been better used to create gas stations and buy real estate rather than on gaudy graphics that, in his opinion, haven't done much to advance Sarkodie's international career.

Shatta didn't hold back when he implied that Sarkodie's modesty and readiness to let Ghanaian businesspeople to "use him" was preventing him from achieving the international recognition he so well deserves. With a hint that Sarkodie ought to be performing with Burna Boy and Wizkid by now, Shatta said, "He's making these high-budget videos, but he's still not there."

While some fans believe that Sarkodie's investments haven't brought him the recognition he deserves, others contend that his emphasis on producing high-caliber music videos demonstrates his commitment to his craft. Fans are wondering if Sarkodie will respond to Shatta's harsh comments as the discussion intensifies.
