Malik Basintale, the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) deputy communication officer, has made the audacious prediction that three things will occur in Ghana on January 7. Malik Basintale claims that despite being in power for eight years, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has failed to provide Ghanaians with the kind of government they desire.

"Isah Allah, John Mahama would be sworn in as the next president, number two, every Ghanaian would be given a certificate of survival, and number three, we would all move to Qwikloan and thank Qwikloan for holding all the youths of this country up," Malik said in an interview with TV3's NewDay show.

I'll say it again: over 80% of people nowadays rely on Qwikloan for their financial survival. For this reason, if you want to transfer money to a young man, they say a different number instead of this one. People who work and get paid within two weeks lose their money.

He went on to say, "What offense have we committed, that we cannot get the Ghana we all want? He is saying that we should vote for Dr. Bawumia so that we can finally get the Ghana we all want. What offense have we committed? You and Bawumia have been unable to give us the Ghana we want for eight years; in fact, it has been more than a year since Bawumia was elected flagbearer. Why haven't you given us the Ghana we want?"
