Bishop Salifu Amoako has come under fire from entertainment commentator and show presenter Sally Mann for his handling of a car accident that claimed two lives including his son. Sally Mann claimed that the bishop's defense of his son was unwarranted and improper during her appearance on Adom TV. Sally urged Ghanaians to pardon Bishop Amoako, claiming that Amoako was emotionally incompetent and that his reaction had really made matters worse.

She claims that his remarks increased the suffering of the bereaved families rather than providing them with solace. Because he lacks emotional intelligence and is unable to use, control, or manage his emotions, Ghanaians should pardon him. Even though he pretends to be lawless, Mann said of Showtym, "he stands before his congregation with the Bible, which calls for us to be lawful."

His lack of emotional intelligence is the reason he stood on the pulpit and begged us to stop discussing the incident, even though he had the chance to apologize for the accident his kid was in. She claimed that he lacked emotional intelligence. ID/KA
