Cosmetic surgery is the first thing that people think of when they think of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. The rationale behind the several treatments, however, is something that most people would not comprehend. According to the autopsy report following his death in 2009, he had several scars on his hands, wrist, arms, nose, and base of neck. Matt Fiddes, his ten-year bodyguard, disclosed the true cause behind Michael's nose operations. In a recent interview, Matt stated, "He used to get teased by his family a lot over the size of his nose." "Being referred to as "huge nose" and so forth."
His father took his time to specifically victimize him, in addition to his family members calling him "big nose." Regarding his nose, Joe Jackson used to remark, "You didn't get that from me." "Your mother gave you that; my side of the family didn't give it to you."
The singer's lifetime of low self-esteem was a direct result of the verbal and emotional assault. He talked about how Joe made him feel in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 1993, saying, "There were times when he'd come to see me, I'd get sick." Michael said. That's how terrified I was of him. I would regurgitate.

A chance presented itself. After falling during a dance rehearsal, Michael, who had always felt that his nose was not perfect, took advantage of the chance to make it smaller. Michael used to dance for an average of three hours every day. It was astounding when he was doing 50 spins in a row at one point, Matt recounted. "He broke his nose after falling over."

Even though Michael claimed to only remember having two nose surgery, his admirers surmised that he had more ones throughout his life because his nose changed appearance at every stage of his life.
