As the country prepares to elect an Executive President and 276 Legislators, the Universal Friendship Organization (UFO) has taken a proactive step to promote peace and harmony.
In collaboration with the Centre for Intelligence and Security Analysis, UFO organized a highly successful peace walk themed "Electoral Peace, National Security
The event started at the Obra Spot and ended at Independence Square, the event drew a massive crowd.
Samuel Adobah, President of UFO addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of youth participation in maintaining peace before, during, and after the elections.
He urged the youth to shun electoral violence, resist exploitation by politicians, and promote transparency within the Electoral Commission.
Vice President Johnson Adu reinforced UFO's objectives, stressing the need for public participation in national development. He highlighted the significance of maintaining unity and peace among citizens, ensuring a harmonious coexistence.
The UFO, a non-governmental international agency, aims to foster peace, security, and development in Africa and beyond. During the event, citations were presented to individuals who have contributed significantly to promoting peace.
